tekong and back again.

so my two weeks of confinement is over.
i don't really feel fitter for some reason.
but then again it's only the beginning.
can't really go much into detail about the army since it's against the law to reveal info about the military.
what i can say is that the two weeks i was in there,
was probably the longest two weeks of my life.
and the two days that i am back will be the fastest two days.
i book back in tomorrow at 8.25pm, or 2025 in army time.
speaking of which i learned that in the army,
you can't take time to appreciate the smaller things.
every thing has to be in double up or hasted.
no time to walk, only marching and running allowed.
apparently walking = no discipline.
anyway, the PT aspect of army has been alright so far.
some are actually quite fun.
i just dislike all the running and marching.
i think all the running and marching i did
is equaled to at least 2 months of how much i would travel on foot in normal life.
ahh the army life, maybe i'm not in that place yet to appreciate it.
even so, i've come to accept that the army is inevitable.
so i guess i just have to suck it up and just go through with it.
met some nice people in there.
quite a few st pat's guys around so mingling have been easy.
route marches are killer by the way.
muscle aches and blisters are a norm.
guess there's not much to be said at the moment.

currently at safy's.
missed her tremendously when i was in-camp.
missed my family and friends as well.
hopefully i will get to meet up with everyone the next time i book in.
this book out is kinda dedicated to her.

in 7 hours, i will be waking up and making my way to camp.

safy: thanks for spending time with me on my last day of freedom. i had a blast and i couldn't have asked for a better day with anyone else. i love you so much and please do take care of yourself. best of luck with year 2 in uni and as well as the new paper new face contest.(please vote her people thanks). 2 years is pretty long, but i'm sure things will be just fine. wait for my call/sms every night ok snuggles? onlyou babe. thanks for being my everything.

i honestly am not looking forward to defending in a country where i have no trust in the system. but i'm doing this not for myself or singapore. but for all my friends, family and loved ones. I AM DEFENDING SINGAPORE FOR YOU GUYS! and that's a good enough reason for me to serve national service. take care all.

24 hours earlier.

so i have exactly a whole day left before enlisting to the army.
i will do my proper goodbyes tomorrow or something.
i'm kinda at a blank right now.
for all the people who say it's gonna be alright..
you have no idea the thoughts which are going through my mind now.
i know things will be pretty much alright,
but i just can't help but worry.
anyway i would like to thank snuggles, min, kelda, sze, char and lyn for yesterdays meet up.
